Course Objectives To develop observational skills, to understand basic drawing and design principles and to become familiar with different drawing media, methods, concepts and terminology
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • 1) Will be able to measure accurately through observation,
  • 2) Will be able to generate a three-dimensional form on a two-dimensional picture plane using line, shape and value,
  • 3) Will be able to apply perspective and scales in drawing geometrical objects,
  • 4) Will be able to apply concepts and methods of composition,
  • 5) Will be able to use a variety of drawing materials (pencil, charcoal, sanguine, dry pastels),
  • 6) Will be able to apply color and color theories.
Course Description In this practical course basic drawing techniques, using various mediums and terminology will be taught.
